A life carved from nature

A life carved from nature

We met in high school—two teenagers surrounded by noise, rushing schedules, and the constant hum of a world that never stopped moving. But from the beginning, we understood something about each other that no one else did. While others dreamed of cities and careers, we dreamed of pine forests, open fields, and the warm breath of horses on cold mornings. We didn’t want much. Just a simple life. A real one.

And somehow… we built it.

It all started in those same high school days, when Kamil walked in with a wild boar skull and said, “Try drawing something on it.” That moment changed everything. A sketch turned into a carving. A carving turned into a burning pattern of lines and symbols. And before we knew it, the piece found a buyer—the very first artwork we ever sold. That was the spark that would one day grow into our small family business: Echoes of Forest.

Years passed. We got married. We left the city behind. We traded streetlights for stars. Schedules for seasons. Walls for the steady peace of trees.

Today, we live in a wooden cabin tucked deep into the forest—just where we always imagined. In the quiet hours of dawn, mist rises from the nearby lake, curling like breath from the earth itself. We catch fish there and cook them over an open flame, listening to the wind rustling through the trees.

Our horses—Quarter Horses that we train and breed with patience and respect—graze in the fields around us. Their hoofbeats echo through the cold morning air, a sound more grounding than any alarm clock. Two loyal dogs watch the treeline. Cats sleep in sunny windows. Birds gather on branches. Deer wander across the clearing. Wolves occasionally sing in the distance. It is a world alive, breathing, and honest.

We live simply. And beautifully. We swim in the lake even in winter, breaking the ice when we have to. We bathe in a metal tub outside, heating the water by lighting a fire beneath it. We work with our hands, with patience, and with gratitude.

Echoes of Forest is not just a business — it’s an extension of the life we chose.
We create jewellery and art from natural materials the forest offers:
antlers, wood, leather, bone, and teeth. Every ring, necklace, carving, and sculpture carries the spirit of the wild places that surround us. Our pieces aren’t just objects—they’re fragments of stories, moments held in time, echoes of the forest itself.

We shape each piece at a wooden table in our cabin, often with a dog sleeping underfoot and horses grazing just outside the window. As the seasons turn, the materials, colors, and inspirations shift with them.

We were two teenagers who simply wanted peace, purpose, and nature.
Today, we are two married artists who found it. We found it in the forest, in each other, and in the craft that grew from a single skull all those years ago. Our home, our animals, our art, our business—every piece of it is tied to the land around us. To the quiet. To the seasons. To the wild.

This is our life. This is our story. And every day, we listen to what guides us most—
we listen to the echoes of forest.
